Things They Don't Teach You At Business School:

Hiring in the Philippines through an Employer of Record isn't a subscription service. It's 47 compliance checkpoints. Here's what that actually looks like.

A ₱60,000/month employee costs you ₱73,200–₱75,600/month loaded — a 22–26% premium driven by SSS (9.5% employer share on MSC up to ₱30,000), PhilHealth (2.5% on salary up to ₱100,000), Pag-IBIG, and PD 851 13th-month provisioning.

Five statutory deadlines repeat every single month:

 → SSS R-3: 10th of following month

→ PhilHealth RF-1: last working day

→ Pag-IBIG MSRF: last working day

 → BIR 1601-C: 10th of following month

→ Net pay disbursement: per Article 103, at least twice monthly, maximum 16-day intervals

Miss any one of them and the penalties compound. Miss all four remittances in a single month and you're looking at potential criminal liability for responsible officers under three separate statutes.

We've published the full day-by-day engagement timeline — intake through offboarding, every form number, every peso-denominated penalty, every audit document required — at alephtalent.org.

First-time EoR buyers: read it before you sign an MSA.
